No Camping Out This Year: How to Shop Black Friday Deals in 2020

by Kyle Timtson

This may not come as a surprise to any of you, but Black Friday is just around the corner. And with it come those deals on just about every appliance you could want or need for your home. Like almost every activity that you would usually leave your house for this year, Black Friday 2020 is going to be a little different.

You might not see rows of tents lined up outside your favorite appliance store in the wee hours of the morning, you may see a lot more faces covered with masks, and the line to the checkout counter will be a bit more spaced out.

You may even do all your sale hunting by the glow of a computer or mobile device screen from the comfort of your own home. Who can beat getting a killer deal on a refrigerator, microwave, or range without having to leave the house or put on pants?

However you shop this Black Friday, there will be some changes.

Scout Out Black Friday Deals Before You Shop

This year, you’ve used every single appliance in your house more than you ever did last year! Maybe more than any year before.

More lunches made at home, more loads in the dishwasher, more laundry in the washer and dryer, so much more opening the fridge, hoping something new has appeared since the last time you checked 20 minutes ago.

A quiet dishwasher won’t interrupt your work-from-home meetings. A dryer you can control with your smart phone will let you toss on a tumble-until-I’m-ready-to-fold-laundry cycle.

Your appliances have gotten a lot of wear and tear, and you deserve to have new appliances that are reliable and make your life easier. Smart appliances can keep your routine on track, even if you’ve lost track of time. Kitchen appliance packages will elevate your mood and the style of your kitchen. A new laundry pair will treat your favorite work clothes (button-down shirt and pajama pants, of course) gently as they powerfully clean them.

Black Friday In-Store Safety Precautions

Wear a mask. We will be wearing them, too.

Though there may still be crowds and people lining up to snag a dishwasher at an unbeatable price, keeping your distance is still a good and safe idea. This includes standing in line outside (if there is a line), keeping your distance while shopping, and respecting the 6-foot rule when in line to check out.

Hand sanitizer and hand washing are encouraged!  You can’t sanitize too much, so go bananas!

Whether you come see us in person or you take advantage of our website, our staff is here to help! Give us a call or stop by if you have any questions or concerns—or if you want to scope out the fastest route to the kitchen appliances. Happy Holidays and happy deal shopping!
